Andrew began shooting photos in 1998, when he and a college friend decided to capture their cragging adventures. Thousands of rolls of film later, Andrew is now one of climbing's most revered--and unique--photographers. He ventures into the misty alpine where, without ever posing his subjects, he captures the raw essence of those who enter what he calls the "desolate arena."
