Now in its third year, The REEL ROCK Film Tour has quickly become the most dynamic climbing-only film festival in the country. The 2008 REEL ROCK Film Tour features the latest releases from climbing’s best cinematographers. Films include Grand Canyon Walls, about Tommy Caldwell and Beth Rodden’s search for new routes in the deepest chasm in America; The Dosage Series, which showcases the latest cutting-edge ascents from the world's best sport climbers and boulderers; Alastair Lee’s On Sight, which explores the purity of on-sight climbing; and an excerpt from one of our favorite films from The 2007 Alpinist Film Festival, The Aerialist, about climbing provocateur Dean Potter. The feature film of the evening is Sender Film’s The Sharp End, about climbers who risk everything to do the world’s most dangerous and committing climbs.
