Tickets for The 2008 Alpinist Film Festival are $18 for the Snow, Surf and Stone nights and $20 for the People's Choice Ceremonies.

If online ticket sales are sold out for a particular night, please note that additional tickets for each evening will be released at the door on a first come, first serve basis at the Walk Festival Hall (January 17, 18, 19) and Center For The Arts (January 20) box offices. Tickets will be released at 5:50 p.m... cash or local checks only for door tickets, please.

Jonathan Schecter, founder of 1% for the Tetons, will MC this special afternoon of mountain town films that explore the intersection of a community at play and development. At the conclusion of the films, Schecter will moderate a panel discussion that includes Teton County Commissioner Andy Schwartz, Jackson Mayor Mark Barron, and Mountain Town director Frank Pickell. The half-hour panel will allow audience members and Teton County elected officials to discuss what we can do to help preserve Jackson Hole's unique mountain town characteristics.
