Film Festival Sponsors
The Alpinist Film Festival, which began in 2005 as The Barry Corbet Film Festival, honors the late Barry Corbet's athletic and artistic spirit with films that celebrate the adventure lifestyle across disciplines and generations. The Festival's mission is to advance the art of cinematographic storytelling as it underscores the unity among the adventure lifestyle communities. Proceeds from every Festival (nearly $20,000 to date) are donated to charity to foster well-being in the places of our inspiration. The Festival regularly receives press from sources as varied as local media to The New York Times. The unique spontaneity of the Festival--up to 1,000 people watch each film in one of Jackson Hole's premier theaters--creates a dynamic interaction that has become the Festival's hallmark and the perfect opportunity for national and local sponsors to reach audiences.
