American Alpine Club Executive Director Injured Climbing

Yesterday, the Executive Director of The American Alpine Club, Phil Powers, was seriously injured in a climbing fall. Powers, who fell while climbing in Colorado's Clear Creek Canyon, was airlifted to Denver following the accident. He underwent surgery and is presently listed as being in stable condition.
