Initial reports to Alpinist indicate that Carles Figueras, Pep Permane and Josep Sola made the first ascent of an unnamed peak (ca. 5788m) above the Kunti Glacier in northern Pakistan. They climbed Guilleries (ED-: 6a [5.10b], 1200m but 1700m of climbing) on the northwest face in alpine style over three days, August 1-3, and named the formation Neyzah Peak. Their success came after a failed attempt on the southwest spur of nearby Rakaposhi (7788m).
