In June Stephan Siegrist, Thomas Senf and Denis Burdet made the first ascent of Arwa Tower's (6352m) northeast face, Garhwal Himalaya, India. The 900-meter climb, a coveted objective since it appeared on the cover of the 2000 American Alpine Journal, goes at VI M5 5.9 A3.

The footage here is an Alpinist exclusive that also can be viewed on Mammut sponsored the expedition.

To read more about the team's ascent of the newly established northeast face, which Mick Fowler deemed "a brilliant objective," read the June 15 NewsWire.
