Julia Niles is an AMGA certified mountain guide and currently works for Jackson Hole Mountain Guides throughout North America. Julia grew up in the Northeast, where she began climbing in the Adirondacks and at the Shawangunks. Prior to moving to Wyoming, Julia worked for the American Alpine Institute, guiding clients on Denali, Aconcagua, and in the North Cascades. Don't let her amiable demeanor and cheerleader-esque looks fool you—she on-sights 5.12 and has made numerous ascents of El Capitan in Yosemite. Julia truly lives "the climbing life" and continues traveling down the never-ending road trip. She currently is working towards her IMGA certification and proving the fact that "girls rule."
