The swell-forecasting models were predicting the biggest swell of the year to hit northern Africa by week’s end. The crew and professional surfers Patrick and Dane Gudauskas and Ricky Whitlock had only a matter of days to voyage into Morocco and the Western Sahara Desert to find some of the best waves on earth.
