Snapshots of a Scottish Winter

The Scottish West coast has been getting its usual flurries of early season mixed climbing conditions. I thought I would pop a post on here as I have some good pics that might get folks sharpening their picks!

I headed out with Emma Holgate to the Grey Corries to climb a route called End Game on Stob Coire An Laoigh. We headed out on a day that dawned clear, cold and windless, not often the case in these parts. The crag had only one other party in it that was Rich Cross heading up Centrepoint VI,7 one of the crag classics the other classic is Andy Nisbits Talliban a superb V,6 corner.

The crag is a great venue for escaping the crowds on the nearby Ben and Aonachs!

The Grey Corries also offer a great winter ridge traverse and ski tour when the snow allows!
