"Although our prior venue's were fantastic, they were unfortunately not in the heart of Jackson," said Festival Founder and Director Christian Beckwith. "With Jackson's new Center for the Arts, the Festival is literally surrounded by the city of Jackson and all that it has to offer."

The Center for the Arts, working with the Town of Jackson and Teton County, is a 41,000 square foot arts venue whose theatre seats 525. The Center was constructed so that local arts organizations and artists were able to showcase their artistic endeavors to the community and visitors of Teton County, of which otherwise may have been impossible without the Center. Planning on the Center began in 1991 and has been an ongoing effort, construction of which is still in effect.

The 2007 Alpinist Film Festival is excited for the recent move in venues and looks forward to an ongoing relationship with Jackson's Center for the Arts.
