As we go to press, word comes to us of a new route, En el Alto, el Tiempo Sara Nastra Recompensa (M6 WI5+ 70°, 800m), on the south face of Chacraraju Este (6001m) by French alpinists Didier Jourdain and Aymeric Clouet. Further information is lacking.
