At dawn, the clouds reveal fragments of ragged peaks. Snow gleams through veils of smoky black. The mystery of these towering giants seems to call to me, Just watch. But perspective is ever changing in this place. Drawing in and expanding out. I cannot see all of you, I think, only your ridges as they break through the mist. Only your crevasses illuminated by patches of sun.
